Lifeguard Instructor Certification

Minimum of 6 participants for course to run.

 

The purpose of the Lifeguard Instructor Course is to train instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Program. This is a Blended Learning Course with online coursework, classroom and in-water skills tests. The 2 hour online portion of this course must be completed prior to the first day of class.

Team of Lifeguards

Prerequisites

  • Participants must be at least 17 years old
  • Must possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification to include Deep Water
  • Complete Red Cross 2 Hour Online Coursework, must print out verification of completion and bring to the first day of in-class session
