🛟 Responsibilities
As an Aquatic Facility Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and administration of the pool and surrounding facility, including:

Performing daily chemical testing and maintaining proper pool chemistry records.

Managing routine facility maintenance and cleanliness duties.

Reporting directly to the Aquatics Area Manager on facility operations and staffing.
You will also lead and support facility staff by:

Conducting pre-service orientation and regular in-service training sessions.

Overseeing daily lifeguard rotations, surveillance, and response procedures.

Ensuring staff maintain required standards of dress, behavior, and professionalism to promote patron safety and a positive facility environment.
Additional program management duties include:

Administering private party rentals, swimming lesson registrations, aqua fitness programs, and community daily/summer passes.

Organizing and participating in monthly community outreach events and potential staff fundraising opportunities.
You will ensure full compliance with:

All local, state, and national aquatic regulations, including water, environmental, health, and safety standards.

Maintaining current facility certifications and operational licenses.
✅ Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.

Current American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.

Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) certification preferred.

Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer (WSIT) certification preferred.

Minimum 3 years of Head Lifeguard experience required.

Minimum 5 years of swim instruction experience, teaching a variety of levels and water safety skills.

Ability to successfully pass pre-employment verbal, swimming, and in-water skills evaluations.

Strong customer service background and the ability to work positively with staff, patrons, and community partners.

Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field preferred.

Must be highly self-motivated with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
